COIL COATING SOLUTIONS

Reducing cost and increasing efficiency has always been the development trend of metal packaging industry. The continuous development of lightweight metal packaging for many years, the transfer of three-piece cans to two-piece cans with higher cost efficiency, and the transfer of sheet coating application to coil coating application with higher efficiency are the representatives of this trend.
In order to meet the market demand, 3N company has been actively engaged in the development of coil coating products for easy open ends and successively launched a series of internal and external coil coatings products for aluminum easy open ends, steel easy open ends and tabs, which have been recognized and praised by the market. In terms of research and development, 3N Company will focus on waterborne and BPAni as the main development direction of future coil coating products.

BPANI SOLUTIONS

As the main monomer of epoxy resin, BPA has been widely used in metal packaging for more than 60 years. Until the 1990s, Scientists successively found that BPA has estrogen-like effects, which triggered a series of studies on the health effects of BPA. To prevent food safety risks, the European Union, China and the United States have banned the use of BPA in infant food packaging. France issued a decree No.2012-1442 in December 2012, banning the use of BPA in all food packaging from 2015. On May 11, 2015, BPA was listed in California Proposition 65 because of its reproductive toxicity; the United States also began to adopt BPAni coatings comprehensively. The EU regulation (EU) 2018/213, which released on February 14, 2018, revised the migration limit of BPA in the food contact coating to 0.05 mg/kg, and requiring no migration of BPA for baby food.
